Behavioral Probation

Students who have shown unsatisfactory progress in behavior will be placed on probation as recommended by the appropriate persons.

A student can be placed on behavioral probation when his/her teachers recommend probation due to a poor attitude, etc. Behavioral probation will be automatic when a student receives 5 detentions within one semester.

Probationary penalties will be as follows:

  1. The student will not be allowed to participate in any elective sports or extracurricular activity.
  2. The student will be given a maximum of one semester to remove the probation by improving his/her behavior and/or attitude. If this is not accomplished, the administration will recommend dismissal.

"Ignorance is worst when it amounts to ignorance of God, and knowledge is best when it exercises itself upon the Name of God. This most excellent knowledge leads to the most excellent grace of faith. O, to learn more of the attributes and character of God. Unbelief, that hooting night bird, cannot live in the light of divine knowledge, it flies before the sun of God's great and gracious name."

C. H. Spurgeon
